I earned my medical degree (MBChB) in 1992 and began my career as a hospital doctor, working across a range of hospitals throughout the UK.I pursued postgraduate training in internal medicine and was awarded membership of the Royal College of Physicians (UK) in 2004, followed by membership of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow in 2007.
During my years in hospital practice, I learned that illness and health are rarely confined to a single organ or system. They are shaped by a complex interplay of physical, psychological, environmental, and social factors. I realised that a narrow focus on pathology alone often failed to meet the broader needs of my patients. This insight led me to retrain as a GP, and I later became a member of the Royal College of General Practitioners upon completing my training.
Over the next two decades, I practised as a GP, weaving the principles of mind-body medicine into everyday clinical care. This transition allowed me to engage with patients in a wide range of settings, deepening my understanding of how occupational, lifestyle, and emotional factors influence health outcomes.
This growing passion led me to pursue further education, culminating in a Diploma in Endocrinology with distinction in 2024 from the University of South Wales.
However, I became increasingly aware of the constraints within the NHS. Time pressures and fragmented continuity often made it difficult to truly listen to patients, especially those with complex physical or psychological concerns. This experience inspired me to open my private clinic: a space where patients are met with the time, attention, and care they truly deserve.
My mission is to give you time to tell me your story and listen to you without rushing you. I want to treat you as a whole person, not just your symptoms and ensure you are part of every decision. I combine expert medical insight with time and trust to create a respectful, unhurried experience where your concerns are truly heard and your well-being is always my top priority. By focusing on prevention, early detection, and tailored care, I aim to support healthier outcomes that last, helping you feel well, live confidently, and stay ahead of illness.
My vision is to redefine modern medical care by setting a new standard of private and multifaceted comprehensive healthcare; one where every individual, regardless of background, receives personalised support that fosters trust, improves outcomes, and empowers healthier, more fulfilled lives. This includes a strong focus on disease prevention, proactive health screening, and access to cutting-edge investigations, ensuring care is both forward-thinking and truly patient-centred.
